I LOVE chicken and dumplings and I LOVE cooking in my slow cooker, put the two together and you have a winning combo in my opinion. This recipe is simple and delicious!
Ingredients:
4-6 frozen chicken breasts {boneless/skinless}
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 can chicken broth
1 package of Grand’s biscuits
How To:
Place chicken breasts, cream of chicken, and chicken broth in your slow cooker and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
Take your chicken out and shred {the kitchen aid mixer makes this super fast!} and stir the sauce that to smooth any lumps.
Add your shredded chicken back into the slow cooker and tear off Grand’s biscuits and toss them on top. Give it all one more stir, then put the lid back on and turn your slow cooker to high for 30 minutes to an hour depending on your slow cooker.
I top mine with a little bit of butter and some parsley, but that is totally optional.
