Saturday the girls and I woke up feeling SO much better but Lee woke up feeling sort of crummy. He had a lot of congestion in his head but being the superman he is, he rallied and we got out for a while. We needed to run some errands:bank and Walmart, then we grabbed lunch and took it home to eat and build forts.
Then we cleaned. I use the term we very loosely. Lee cleaned all the floors and picked up the house while I focused on laundry washing, drying, and folding. The weather was nice so while the floors dried Lee took the girls outside to play. For dinner what do sick people want? Ice Cream. It just happened to be PJ Day at Bruster’s which is right across the street. We put on our jams and headed over for our free cones!
Sunday we all felt good enough to go to church. Afterwards we ate lunch and planned on taking the girls to the playground in the mall to burn off some energy. As we pulled into the mall they both fell asleep, so we sat in the car for an hour listening to sports radio. Haha!
Our next stop was the hospital where I will have the baby for a tour of the floor we will be on. The girls were a little antsy but were troopers. Our last stop was the grocery store for some items we needed for the week ahead. We left home at 9:30 in the morning and didn’t get home until 4:00 that afternoon. It was a looonnnggg day but we got a lot accomplished. When we got home Lee took the girls outside to play while I made a homemade pizza. Then it was the usual routine of dinner, baths, bed for kids, House of Cards for us, then bed 🙂
I hope you all had a great weekend!!
