Let me start by saying I have got to get my act together with taking pictures! Almost all of the pictures from this post were taken by Lee, because I always forget to take pictures. I always remember AFTER we get home that I should have taken pictures. Maybe that can me a goal I set for myself this week? Take more pictures!!
Friday I took the girls to a park close to our house that we hadn’t been to yet. On Saturday we went back so Lee could get in on all the fun! We started by playing on the playground.
Then we loaded the girls into the stroller and gave them a snack of juice and cookies and took off for a stroll through the walking trails.
After a quick lunch at home we hopped back in the car to head out to hunt Whitney some shoes.
This is how Libby insisted on going, with a dish towel and basket on her head. She fell asleep on the ride there. When we got there I was able to reason with her to leave her accessories in the car;)
Libby was ecstatic to see Rapunzel in one of the stores!!
We ended Saturday by celebrating this big girl turning 11 months old!! I don’t know how my baby can be that old!
Sunday we had big plans to visit our first church but Whitney had a rough night {think she and I up at 2:30 with her thinking it was par-tay time}. We missed church and decided to try a bike ride at a park we drove by on the way to the mall the day before.
As we were loading up I caught a glimpse of myself in the car and saw a giant bug on my hat!
Ready to ride!!
We were at Marcella Vivrette Smith Park and it was beautiful! The bike ride was a little bit longer and a little bit more “advanced” than we were anticipating but we had a good time. Whitney and Libby were OVER it the last little part of the ride. Libby got out and walked and I walked my bike while holding Whitney. We all made in to the car and the AC just short of any major meltdowns. I call that a win!
So, we had a super fun, super relaxed weekend filled with a lot of {southern} love!
Let's talk, tell me what you think.
