Everything’s Just Peachy!

May 2, 2016 by Katrina Leave a Comment

Happy Monday, friends! How are y’all doing? Over here everything’s just peachy! Of course by peachy I mean the color peach. It is everywhere lately it seems, even in my house. Some of my favorite things right now are all peach colored or peach scented. Don’t believe me? Just look…

My Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette is my favorite makeup product right now. I can make so so many eye looks AND the palette actually smells like peaches!

Pretty as a Peach Luxury Bubble Bath - Signature Collection - Bath & Body Works

Bath & Body Works scent Pretty As A Peach is so delicious smelling! I actually bought it for my mother-in-law and Gardenia for myself but after smelling them again Lee and I agreed the Gardenia was more my mother-in-law. So I ended up keeping the peach and I am now obsessed. It smells so good!

I actually won these pretty peach earrings from Waltz Me to Heaven’s giveaway. They are designed by Lauren Milmine and are beautiful. I can see these being a summer staple earring!

GapGapLinen surf shorts

Ok, these shorts aren’t peach but they had to be mentioned. Let’s just go with it. I saw these shorts online and thought they were cute. Then I tried them on in my Gap store and oh my gosh…I may have bought them in two colors! They are the softest and lightest linen and feel like pajama shorts. The fit is so flattering too! I am 100% confident that these will be worn so much during those super hot summer days!

I hope things are just as peachy with you as they are over here! Come back tomorrow, I am going to share Libby’s preschool program!!

Spring Clothes for Girls On a Budget

April 6, 2016 by Katrina 9 Comments

When it comes to clothes for my kiddos I used to go ALL OUT and spend money on expensive outfits. Then I would get so upset when they got stained or worn out because I had invested so much money in them. Last year I decided that with two girls 1- I couldn’t afford to go all out for two and 2- I needed to remember they were little and making memories {and stains} were more important than keeping their clothes clean. So I began to look for bargain clothes that were still super cute and would hold up well for the entire season.

I went spring & summer shopping for the girls a few weeks ago and kept a pretty tight budget of $200 to outfit both of them with clothes to last through the season. Today, I thought I would share some of my cute finds with you. So I am linking up over at A Life Well Loved…y’all check out all the great clothes and styles!

Healthtex Baby Toddler Girl Essential Summer Embroidered Woven Dress

How cute are these dresses? I love the girls in dresses. They are easy to throw on and they stay cool wearing them. The best part? All of these dresses are from Walmart and are under $5! We got several of these dresses last year and they held up all summer long, I think they are great quality for the price.

I stock the girls up on plenty of shorts from Target, all under $6.

And I stocked up on these tops from Target that were also all under $6. I will be able to mix and match all the shorts and shirts to make different outfits.

I was able to get all of the items pictured above for both girls for under $200! I even had enough money left in my budget to score them each a pair of cute sandals from Target!

Girls' Fate Braided Thong Sandals - Assorted ColorsToddler Girls' Jera Slide Sandals - Assorted Colors

Of course, I will pick up some special pieces here and there for different occasions but for the most part these are their clothes for the summer. They are super cute, can be mixed and matched to create a plethora of outfits, but were not so expensive that I will be upset if they get messed up.

These Zella leggings are 40% off right now. I have heard great things about Zella leggings and have never tried them but this may be the pair I try! With this tank I think it would be a super cute outfit.
